An Academic Coaching Program for Architecture Students

Jambi, July 24, 2025 – The Architecture Department is showing its commitment to improving students academic quality through the “Architecture of Academic Writing” (AAW) program. This July, the program is focused on providing intensive coaching to prepare students for a national scientific competition held by UIN Raden Fatah Palembang.
AAW is an Architecture Study Program initiative designed to provide academic guidance. This month, guidance is being provided directly by two Architecture Study Program lecturers to ensure that students are fully prepared. The coaching is divided into two main focuses.
Mrs. Sinta Oktaviana, S.T., M.P.W.K., is in charge of guiding students on the methods and techniques for writing a structured and argumentative scientific article. Meanwhile, Mr. Randy Rizal, S.T., M.Ars., is guiding students on how to design effective and visually attractive scientific posters and infographics. This approach aims to ensure that the students’ work is not only strong in content but also excellent in its presentation.
Through this guidance, students are expected to perform their best and be confident in competition. Hopefully, this activity can bring new achievements for the Architecture Department. (Hannifa)
